Our multidisciplinary referral veterinary centre in St Helens was established in 1961.
Over the years, our dedicated, skilled team members, our commitment to maintaining modern facilities and our 24-hour emergency service have allowed us to provide a reliable, quality service to pets across the region.

Each member of our team brings their own experience and expertise, meaning that we can provide a vast set of services in-house.
Modern hospital facilities
We’ve been based at our purpose-built referral hospital on Abbotsfield Road, which was officially opened by Lord Soulsby of Swaffham, since 2007.
Our excellent facilities allow us to offer advanced services, such as minimally invasive (or ‘keyhole’) surgical techniques and complex orthopaedic and neurological procedures, as well as tailored rehabilitation programmes, laser therapy and much more.
We have dedicated spaces for rehabilitation and physiotherapy, allowing us to offer tailored rehabilitation programmes, laser therapy and much more, at convenient times to ensure continuity of care from diagnosis through to recovery.
Giving back to our community
Engaging with our community is vital to our referral practice, which is why we regularly get involved with local pet fairs, schools and colleges.
Through offering talks, tours and work experience placements, we’re helping to inspire the next generation of veterinary talent.
Sustainability is also a primary focus for our team, and we have implemented several initiatives to help reduce our environmental impact.
These include waste reduction efforts, the installation of an energy-efficient lighting and heating system, the use of eco-friendly products, paperless administration systems and green travel incentives for our team.
